April Wrap-Up

It seems spring will never arrive.  The grounds look like November only soggy.  As we await the first buds of spring we can still notice subtle changes.  The pond is full, the goldfish are swimming and the first bloom nourishes a hungry bee!  Don’t forget how valuable the dandelions are for the emerging bee population.

We are pleased to have two new faces join our Recreation Team.   Our featured image above shows the entire team. See the full writeup in the May newsletter available on line under newsletters. Some of the activities we enjoyed over April include,  a visit from Kawartha Wildlife Centre, Easter crafting with Fleming Students, and preparation for the May Plant Sale ( May 17) along with regular programming, music and the birthday party.
