December 29, 2025 - Outbreak Declared Over
In cooperation with Public Health, we are pleased to announce that the whole-home outbreak has officially been declared over, and normal activities may now resume.
Please note: Universal masking will remain in place for all staff until further notice.
Thank you to everyone for your patience and support during this time.
December 19, 2025 - Outbreak Update
We are currently managing a home-wide influenza outbreak. Residents with respiratory symptoms are being isolated, and any residents who share a bathroom with a symptomatic individual will also be placed in isolation. The length of isolation will be determined by PCR test results, and residents will remain isolated until results are confirmed.
We understand that maintaining isolation can be challenging, especially in the Woodland home area. Staff will continue to redirect and return residents to their rooms if they leave isolation.
Important Reminders for Staff and Visitors:
• Please stay home if you are feeling unwell
• Self-screen for illness before every visit to SJAF
• Stay safe during the holiday season
