Save the Date – Our Bargains & BBQ is Back!
Mark your calendars for our annual Bargains & BBQ (garage sale & lunch) fundraiser coming up on Saturday, September 12th! We look forward to welcoming staff, residents, families, friends, and our community for a day of shopping, great food, and fun. More details, including event times and activities, will be shared in the coming weeks.
We’re also now accepting donations for our garage sale! If you have gently used items you’d like to contribute, please contact Sarah Cox to arrange a convenient drop-off at the home.
All proceeds from the Bargains & BBQ support the St. Joseph’s at Fleming Foundation, helping enhance the quality of life for the residents of our not-for-profit home. Thank you for your generosity and support– we hope to see you there!
Construction Work
Construction has started affecting the front entrance and resident smoking area. It is anticipated that this project will take a few weeks. During this time, residents, staff, and visitors may experience noise, restricted access, and contractor activity during business hours. The smoking area will be temporarily relocated at the front for safety, and smoking is only permitted in the designated temporary area. We ask that everyone please follow safety signage and instructions, with further updates to be provided as needed.
Important Allergy Information
To protect the health and safety of everyone in our home, lilies, lavender, and strongly scented products (i.e. perfumes, colognes) are not permitted in the building due to the risk of severe, potentially life-threatening allergic reactions. Staff, visitors, and residents must avoid bringing or wearing these items, including scented personal products and floral arrangements. Any prohibited items brought into the home will be removed immediately. Thank you for helping maintain a safe environment for everyone.
The Be a Saint Golf Tournament
We are pleased to share that our recent golf tournament was a wonderful success, raising $30,000 in support of our home. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this achievement – whether through generous donations, volunteering your time, or participating in the event. Your support and community spirit made this fundraiser truly special. We are grateful for your continued commitment to enhancing the lives of our residents.
Enjoy Our Activity Spaces Together
A friendly reminder that each home area has a resident activity room stocked with supplies for everyone to enjoy. Families and visitors are always welcome to use these materials while spending time together, and many of these activities may also appeal to children and grandchildren during visits. We kindly ask that all items are returned when finished so everyone can continue to enjoy them. We also have a games lounge on the first floor (located by the vending machines) with a variety of games and activities available for all to enjoy!
Meet Our New Board:
